Local 549’s office and apprenticeship is located at 2350 Main Street, Wheeling, WV 26003. Local #549 serves the jurisdiction of Northern West Virginia, South Eastern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania. Local #549 is committed to providing a highly skilled workforce who is a safe, productive and dedicated membership. We have over 537 members and continue to grow. Our members build your schools, hospitals, bridges and shopping centers. Ironworkers Local #549 prides itself in a long tradition of hard work and strong work ethic. We provide our members a health insurance, pension, and a training program that is second to none. Our contractors enjoy a large supply of well-trained Ironworkers who meet or exceed their needs.
